Responsibilities

• Interview patient to verify purpose of visit and update records.
• Take vital signs and prepare exam rooms before/after appointments.
• Administer medications and vaccines under physician supervision.
• Process prescription refills and coordinate with pharmacies.
• Maintain inventory and room readiness; ensure equipment is functional.
• Comply with HIPAA, OSHA and insurance guidelines; document care in EMR.
• Assist with referrals, scheduling, and patient education per protocol.
