Job description

Overview

This position is responsible for administrative as well as clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examinations, assisting physicians with exams, and performing front-desk tasks. Tasks may include appointment scheduling, answering and returning patient calls, and coordinating daily office activities. This position conveys a positive image of the office and provides information as needed to ensure patients are aware of all benefits of the office.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Medical Assistant Certification.
  3. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  4. Minimum one year work experience in a public contact job.
  5. Work experience in healthcare preferred.
  6. Current Phlebotomy certification or competency required.

The estimated total compensation range for this role, including wages, benefits, and other compensation, is $18.15 to $24.69. The exact starting salary will be determined at the time of hire based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
