Job Overview:

This position will float between Memorial Health Family Medicine, Memorial Surgical Associates, Memorial Gastroenterology, Petersburg Family Medicine, Huntingburg Family Medicine, and Holland Family Medicine. The Clinical Assistant is responsible for history taking and patient preparation from newborns to the elderly, assisting with examinations, documenting procedures, and supporting providers in the office as requested. Duties include clerical and clinical responsibilities such as patient registration, managing telephones, rooming patients, assisting with procedures, and performing point-of-care testing as needed. The ideal candidate should be organized, flexible, and attentive to detail, reflecting the compassionate and holistic care approach of our organization.

Qualifications:

• Education - CMA: Must have completed a certified/registered medical assistant program, preferably with at least one year of experience in a physician office or outpatient clinic.
• Education - CCMA: Completion of a Medical Assisting certification program and one year of clinic experience required, or completion of the CMA Resident program at Memorial Hospital.
• Education - LPN: Must have completed an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse training program with current registration in Indiana.
• CPR Provider-C required.
