Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking Medical Assistants to work under physician and RN supervision, taking vital signs, assisting with data collection and direct patient care. You will coordinate lab and radiology appointments and assist with registration and billing while directing patients to the proper services.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient charts, ensuring logs are up to date, and supporting registration across locations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes vital signs and documents all information in the patient’s chart.
• Coordinates laboratory and radiology appointments.
• Assists with registration and billing tasks and directs patients to services.
• Maintains patient charts and logs and provides secretarial support.
• Travel to other locations may be required as needed.
