Job summary

Ellie Mental Health is seeking a Clinic Manager to support the Clinic Director in operations and staff management while maintaining a 20–25 client caseload weekly.

You will recruit and train clinical staff, nurture referral partnerships, and provide administrative and clinical oversight in the director's absence. Collaborate closely with the Clinic Director to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a mental health discipline.
• Florida-licensed clinician (LCSW/LMFT/LMHC) preferred.
• Qualified Manager in Florida (preferred).
• Strong leadership and executive skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Knowledge of state mental health regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Master’s Degree or higher education in mental health discipline.


• Qualified Manager in the State of Florida (Preferred)


• Independently licensed with a Florida-issued clinical practice license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC).


• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets.

Reporting & Supervision

Tasks & Responsibilities

Hiring, Training, and Staff Management

• Supports in the hiring process for all therapists at their clinic.


• Provides training for clinic new hires, ensuring all required Ellie Mental Health clinical and operational policies and procedures are taught and followed.


• Assess ongoing development and training needs and conduct ongoing training as needed.


• Hold staff compassionately accountable to meeting performance expectations.


• Supports in the management of basic clinic Human Resource tasks

Clinic Oversight

• Provide training, staff development, and administrative oversight to support the functioning of the clinic.


• Collaborate with Clinic Director (as needed) to implement strategies for fiscal and clinical efficiency.


• Monitor and manage clinic office schedules and office supplies in the absence, and/or from the direction of, the Clinic Director.


• Provide timely response to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders.

Clinic Outreach, Marketing, and Networking

• Support in community outreach and engagement efforts.


• Collaborate with community partners to increase referral input for clinic outcomes.


• Collaborate with Clinic Director and Clinic Staff to plan and execute outreach efforts and events.

Organizational Leadership

• Collaborate with Clinic Director to implement all required clinic policies and procedures


• Identify opportunities to improve client care, quality, and effectiveness, and implement changes in collaboration with Clinic Director

Clinic Services

• Provide clinical mental health therapeutic services


• Maintain a minimum caseload of 20-25 clients per week


• Provide clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
