Job summary

Lutheran SeniorLife Beaver County LIFE program seeks a Clinic Manager, LPN to oversee clinic flow, lead nursing staff, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards within the primary care team.

Responsibilities include triaging participants, managing daily clinic scheduling, providing training, and conveying participant conditions to caregivers and the interdisciplinary team; you will supervise staff education and competency evaluation.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse and possess a current PA license in good standing.
• 2–3 years nursing experience, including 1 year supervisory, with experience with frail/elderly population preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers; Word and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinic flow and lead nursing staff, ensuring high quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate services with primary care team; serve as primary liaison for clinic and nursing staff.
• Triage participants and manage daily clinic scheduling as gatekeeper.
• Provide basic care per physician/PA/NP orders; train and educate participants, caregivers, and staff.
• Communicate participant conditions to caregivers, PCP, and interdisciplinary team; supervise staff training and competency evaluation.

Clinic Manager, LPN - $6,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment)

Full-time position at LIFE Beaver County, PA.

Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania. Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty. LIFE is a program that serves county residents living in Armstrong, Butler, Beaver and Lawrence Counties. It is an all-inclusive comprehensive program that helps individuals maintain their independence in their home and community through supportive services. The LIFE programs offer an array of person-centered services from medical care to adult day supports with the primary goal of allowing individuals to remain in their own home.

The Clinic Manager, LPN, under the supervision of the Regional Director, manages the flow of the clinic, leading all staff in provision of medical and nursing care, ensuring high quality standards and regulatory compliance. Coordinates services with primary care team and acts as a primary liaison for the clinic and nursing staff. Triages participants as needed and is the gatekeeper for daily clinic scheduling. Provides basic care to participants; implements physician, physician assistant and nurse practitioner orders. Provides training and education to participant, caregiver family and staff; and communicates participant’s condition to caregivers, primary care physician, and the interdisciplinary team. Has direct oversight of all responsibilities for the staff in the clinic, (excluding providers) including clinical educations, training/observations, reporting requirements, and competency evaluation.

Qualifications

• A Licensed Practical Nurse, must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and possesses a current license, in good standing, from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• 2 to 3 years of nursing experience, including 1 year supervisory experience preferred, with 1 year experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
