Ellie Mental Health in Dothan, AL is seeking a Clinic Manager to lead daily operations, culture, and performance while maintaining an active clinical caseload. This clinical leadership role blends administrative duties with client care in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with the Clinic Director and team to manage staffing, processes, meetings, and policy implementation, ensuring a supportive, growth-minded clinic culture.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field and licensed or license-eligible in Alabama.
• Experience leading clinical teams and managing clinic operations.
• Strong knowledge of Alabama state mental health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active clinical caseload and meet billable hour targets.
• Oversee clinic operations, staffing, and administrative processes.
• Triage staff questions and connect them with resources.
• Troubleshoot issues with Valant, ADP, Teams, Outlook, and billing.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and staffing needs.
• Foster culture-building and team engagement with leadership.
• Co-facilitate meetings and document outcomes.
• Ensure policy adherence and provide backup for Clinic Director.

About the Role

We're seeking a Clinic Manager to support the day-to-day operations, culture, and performance of an Ellie Mental Health clinic. This is a clinical leadership role that combines administrative responsibilities with maintaining an active client caseload.

The Clinic Manager partners closely with the Clinic Director and team to support staffing, problem-solving, administrative processes, clinical meetings, and a positive workplace culture.

What You'll Do

• Maintain an active clinical caseload and meet established billable hour expectations
• Support clinic operations, performance, and administrative processes
• Triage staff questions and connect team members with appropriate resources
• Troubleshoot issues involving Valant, ADP, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and billing
• Support hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and staffing needs
• Partner with clinic leadership on culture-building activities and team engagement
• Co-facilitate clinic meetings and consultation groups
• Maintain documentation related to meetings and consultation
• Support implementation of organizational policies and procedures
• Serve as a backup for the Clinic Director when needed
• Perform other duties that support the clinic and its mission

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Active, independent Alabama clinical license such as LPC, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC
• 5+ years of clinical therapy experience preferred
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
• Strong understanding of state requirements governing mental health practice
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
• Ability to learn and navigate Electronic Health Record systems
