Job summary

Georgeregional Clinic seeks a Clinic LPN/MA to support examination, treatment, and procedures in a busy healthcare setting. You will obtain vitals, document visits, and assist with vaccines and referrals.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing or medical assistant program and current licensure/registration in the state where practicing; strong patient communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must graduate of an accredited school of Nursing or MA program.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Mississippi or current MA certification/registration.
• Must have good patient communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with examination, treatment and procedures.
• Record vital signs and pertinent information for visits.
• Handle phone calls and documentation related to patient care.
• Administer shots and vaccines.
• Schedule procedures such as CT and MRI.
• Make referrals as appropriate.
