Job summary

Mountain View Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinic team. The role emphasizes direct and indirect patient care, timely communication with providers, and adherence to certification requirements.

The ideal candidate will have an LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse credential with BLS, and be prepared to obtain ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire, with at least 6 months of experience and preference for 2–5 years of clinical work.

Qualifications

• RN degree with BLS certification and to obtain ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience: 6 months required experience, 2-5 yrs clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting.
• Communicate with providers/nurse manager/co-workers about changes in patient condition including results of diagnostic evaluation and changes in patient condition or symptomatology.
• May have inventory/ordering responsibilities and cross-train in laboratory rapid assays, reception and radiographic studies.
