Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential nursing care in the clinic setting under supervision of licensed practitioners or RNs. You will administer medications, assist with procedures, and document patient information in the EMR, while educating patients on care plans and ensuring a safe, compliant clinic environment.

The role requires 0-2 years of clinical/outpatient experience, with LPN/LVN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• LPN/LVN licensure required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient intake and documents symptoms, history, medications and vital signs.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures.
• Conducts diagnostic testing and basic procedures as directed.
• Maintains infection control and sanitization per policy.
• Communicates with patients and families about care plans and treatment.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the EMR and HIPAA compliance.
