Job description

We Are Hiring

• Department: Gastroenterology
• Schedule: Hours vary from 7AM-5PM Monday - Friday
• Facility: Ascension Menasha Midway Office Building
• Location: Menasha, WI

What You Will Do

Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the supervision of a physician.

• Assist with treatments ordered by a physician, under supervision. Perform select clinical duties.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts. Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
• Perform basic clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Manage supplies by ordering and stocking, and help maintain a clean environment.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant job experience. Professional licensure/certification may substitute for education/experience.

Additional Preferences

Medical Assistant:

• Assist with treatments, perform clinical duties, and clerical tasks as described above.

Licensed Practical Nurse:

• Assess patients, administer medications, perform lab tests, and educate patients about their care.

Licensure/Certification:

• BLS credential from AHA, obtained within 1 month of hire.
• Practical/Vocational Nurse license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant experience. Licenses can substitute for education.

Work Experience:

• Medical assistant experience preferred. No experience required for Clinic LPN.
