Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, now part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Clinic LPN to support the RN and provider in planning and delivering patient care. You will document observations, administer medications, and assist with procedures while ensuring safety and adherence to standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to policies, and delivering high-quality care with compassionate patient interaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Licensed Practical Nursing.
• Licensed Practical Nurse: ND, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN and healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and routine procedures.
• Perform/record vital signs, CPR, oxygen delivery, wound care, dressings, and sterile prep.
• Prepare sterile field for Suturing and assist with treatments as appropriate.
• Phlebotomy, collect urine specimens, and educate patients and families.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic LPN at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, you will work with the RN and provider to utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment and planning of care based on delegated tasks, patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient's response. You are held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization.

Every day, you will apply your nursing skills to provide direct patient care, meticulously documenting observations, administering medications, and assisting with procedures. You will be a crucial support to the healthcare team, ensuring that patient care is delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with established standards and organizational values.

To be successful in your role, you will meticulously apply the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities, collaborating effectively with the RN and provider to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate delegated tasks and therapeutic interventions. You will demonstrate exceptional adherence to departmental and organizational policies and procedures, consistently demonstrating accountability in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal patient responses to treatment.

• Assist RN and healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, special tests, and routine procedures
• Perform/record vital signs, CPR, apply oxygen delivering systems, perform simple wound irrigation/direct pressure/dressings,
• Prepare sterile field for Suturing,
• Assist provider with treatment when appropriate,
• Apply restraints, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomy
• Provides patient and family education

We are offering a $5,000 Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Pay Range

$21.96 - $31.01 /hour
