Pride Health is hiring for a Clinic LPN for a client in Seffner, FL! (Contract)

Schedule: Mon-Fri (8am-5pm)

Contract: 3 months

Pay Rate: $30-34/hour

Primary Responsibilities:

Patient Assessment

• Evaluate the urgency of patient symptoms via phone or in-person.

• Use standardized protocols to determine whether a patient needs same-day care, future appointments, or emergency services.

• Prioritize care based on clinical urgency.

• Wound care

• IV/Injections

Telephone Triage

• Answer calls from patients seeking medical advice or appointments.

• Gather symptom information, provide guidance, and determine next steps.

• Document calls accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).

Clinical Decision-Making

• Use nursing judgment to escalate cases to physicians or advanced practice providers when necessary.

• Identify red flags for emergent conditions and coordinate emergency care.

• Provide guidance on symptom management, medication usage, and when to seek further care.

• Reinforce provider instructions and health promotion practices.

Coordination of Care

• Communicate effectively with other clinical staff and departments.

Documentation

• Accurately and promptly document assessments, advice given, and patient responses.

• Ensure medical records are compliant with legal and clinical standards.

7. Protocol Management

• Follow evidence-based triage guidelines and clinical pathways.

• Assist in developing or updating triage protocols if needed.

Must have qualifications/experience: Minimum Qualifications

o Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

o Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

o Basic Life Support (BLS) – required.

Required Experience

• 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience (more preferred for phone triage or high-volume offices).

• Experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care is a plus.
