Phaxis is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a busy outpatient Urology practice in Abingdon, PA. You’ll support physicians, perform in-office procedures, and manage patient care with a focus on quality and compliance.

The position offers a path to permanent placement through a temp-to-hire arrangement. Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of nursing experience, a current LPN license, and BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• BLS Certification required; ACLS preferred.
• 6 months–1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Prior Urology or outpatient specialty experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and document new and established urology patients.
• Assist physicians with examinations and in-office procedures.
• Perform catheterizations, uroflow/PVR testing, and urinalysis.
• Assist with venipuncture and intravesical medication administration.
• Administer medications, injections and treatments as appropriate.
• Coordinate preoperative testing, surgical clearances and follow-up care.
• Respond to patient inquiries, triage concerns, and provide education.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality care.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a busy outpatient Urology practice in Abingdon, PA!

This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN looking to expand their clinical skills, work alongside experienced physicians, and transition into a permanent position.

Assess and document new and established urology patients.

Assist physicians with examinations and in-office urological procedures.

Perform catheterizations, uroflow/PVR testing, urodynamic testing, and urinalysis.

Assist with venipuncture and intravesical medication administration.

Administer medications, injections, and treatments as appropriate.

Coordinate preoperative testing, surgical clearances, and follow-up care.

Respond to patient inquiries, triage concerns, and provide patient education.

Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

BLS Certification Required.

ACLS preferred.

6 months-1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Prior Urology or Outpatient Specialty Experience is a PLUS!

Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Competitive pay of $25-$28/hour.
