To be considered for this exciting opportunity, at the time of hire, you’ll need to have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and a Vocational Nurse license issued by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
Physical DemandsThis role requires moderate physical activity, including standing or walking for extended periods, as well as bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and reaching. You may work on irregular surfaces, occasionally lift objects over 25 pounds, and frequently lift 10-25 pounds. You will be required to undergo a general medical examination for this position.

Credit will be given to applicants who possess the following desirable qualification:
Additional experience as a licensed vocational nurse in excess of the Requirements.
Examination Content:This exam will consist of an evaluation of experience based upon application information and supplemental questionnaire responses, weighted 100%.
CANDIDATES ACHIEVING A PASSING SCORE OF 70% OR HIGHER ON THIS EXAMINATION WILL BE ADDED TO THE ELIGIBLE REGISTER.
Applications will be processed as they are received and added to the eligible register accordingly. Candidates who pass the assessment are placed on a list in the order of their score group for a period of (12) months. We will use this list to fill vacancies throughout health services as they occur.
