Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within three months of hire.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality with patient information.
• Professional presence aligned with Trinity Health Mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors at the front desk with a professional demeanor.
• Check-in patients and complete admitting steps efficiently and in compliance with policies.
• Answer and route incoming phone calls.
• Schedule appointments per office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information; collect copays and deductibles.
• Enter demographics, insurance data, and other information into the EMR.
