Job summary

CHRISTUS Health, including the Family Health Center in Mount Pleasant, TX, seeks a Per Diem/PRN Registration and Billing Clerk to serve as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor debit and credit of client accounts.
• Post transactions to accounts receivable and review billing transactions.
• Resolve inquiries and complaints on institutional billing transactions.
• Perform order entry, registration and other clerical duties.
• Train clerical staff in registration and printing of patient reports.
• Assist with insurance verification, recording statistics, registering patients and updating accounts.
• Assist with scheduling patient appointments, answer phones, and inform patients of their benefits.
• Complete other duties as needed.
