CHI Health Clinic is seeking a Clinic EMT at the Florence Family Clinic to provide compassionate, high-quality care and perform essential assessments and interventions in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, manage intake duties, vital signs, and specimen collection, and assist with medications and vaccines as ordered. A strong patient-first mindset and critical thinking are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State-approved EMT training program.
• Nebraska EMT license (Active).
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Mansioni

• Performs general patient care following clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients, records vitals, allergies, meds, and visit reason.
• Collects and prepares specimens for lab analysis.
• Provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic EMT working at our Florence Family Clinic off of N 30th St, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care and make critical assessments! You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.To thrive in this vital role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others.

Expectations:

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by completing intake duties such as obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

We are offering a $4800 Sign-on Bonus to new hires that meet eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State-approved EMT training program graduate
• Active State NE EMT License required
• Active status on Nebraska Medication Aide Registry within 90 days of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
