Job summary

Padilla Physical Therapy & Fitness is seeking a Clinic Director / Physical Therapy Manager in Bakersfield to lead and grow the location. You will balance direct patient care with leadership, mentorship, and practice development, overseeing PTs, PTAs, and support staff.

You will drive day-to-day operations, improve patient experience, and foster a strong, compliant clinical culture while expanding services and community impact.

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist license in good standing or eligibility.
• Outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred.
• Leadership or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical operations and continued development of the Bakersfield clinic.
• Supervise, mentor, and support Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Help recruit, onboard, train, and develop clinical team members as the clinic grows.
• Build and maintain a positive, accountable, team-oriented clinic culture.
• Collaborate with ownership regarding staffing, clinical quality, patient experience, clinic performance, and growth.
