Job summary

Amae Health in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Clinic Director to lead care delivery teams, programs, and systems at our new clinic opening.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will supervise an interdisciplinary team, guide intake and treatment plans, and drive quality, outcomes, and cost efficiency. The role offers a base salary of $125,000–$145,000 per year plus comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage and parental leave.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted licensed psychologist, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT or LPC in California.
• Experience working with severe mental illness (SMI) and related care planning.
• Holistic view of health and ability to work across diverse settings.
• Strong communication and adaptability in varied environments.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities.
• Structured, organized approach to multi-tasking in clinical settings.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with care platforms.
• Familiarity with LA-area medical/mental health systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise interdisciplinary clinic teams to coordinate care.
• Oversee intake processes and craft individualized treatment plans.
• Direct engagement with complex patients and support clinical staff.
• Partner with operational leaders to plan and execute strategic initiatives.
• Identify issues, implement improvements, and document learnings.
• Pursue required training to stay aligned with best practices.
