Job summary

Orthopaedic Associates of Muskegon (OAM) seeks a Clinic Director to lead our outpatient rehabilitation clinic while remaining an active clinician at Muskegon Boys & Girls Club. You will mentor staff, build physician and community relationships, ensure high-quality care, and guide daily operations.

This full-time leadership role emphasizes evidence-based practice, staff development, and clinic growth, with a focus on patient outcomes, teamwork, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Michigan PT license.
• Minimum of three years outpatient rehabilitation experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, evidence-based physical therapy care and maintain an active patient caseload.
• Lead day-to-day clinic operations, including productivity, documentation, billing accuracy, workflow, equipment, and supplies.
• Monitor clinic performance indicators, including patient outcomes, satisfaction, utilization, and financial goals.
• Hire, train, mentor, evaluate, and support clinical staff while fostering a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
• Oversee clinical education and orientation for new hires, students, and interns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, licensure requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, athletic trainers, coaches, local businesses, and other referral and community partners.
• Represent the clinic through community events, educational opportunities, and marketing or business development initiatives.
• Lead quality assurance efforts, including chart audits, outcomes tracking, service recovery, and continuous improvement.
• Manage clinic budgets, forecasts, and financial performance in alignment with broader organizational goals.
