Job summary

Columbia Mental Health, part of Transformations Care Network, seeks a Clinic Director to lead an outpatient clinic, guiding therapists, psychiatric providers, and admin staff toward high-quality care. The role emphasizes psychological safety, growth, and clinical excellence within a community-focused setting.

You will drive data-informed decisions, foster partnerships, and oversee operations to support person-centered care and continuous improvement at the clinic.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • An independent clinical license, if applicable.
  • Experience in outpatient mental health and clinical supervision.
  • Management experience with data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of mental health regulations, EMRs, medical terminology, and pharmacology.
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork ability, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with current psychiatric care standards and trends.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of therapists, front office staff, and interventional personnel.
  • Lead clinic decision-making, supervise clinical and administrative operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage clinic productivity and performance using data-driven strategies.
  • Uphold compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support front office/customer service teams and oversee staff onboarding.
  • Collaborate to improve work environment, reduce clinician burnout, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Manage a therapy caseload of 8-10 clients weekly, if applicable.
  • Coordinate day-to-day management of psychiatric professionals in partnership with clinic management.

Columbia Mental Health is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $95,000. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market-driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities available for this role. These ranges represent our current standard compensation practices and may be adjusted over time to remain competitive and aligned with organizational needs.
