Job summary

Rehab 2 Perform is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to oversee daily operations of the clinic, manage staff scheduling, and ensure outstanding customer service. Under supervision from the Site Director and management, you will collect payments, prepare patients for treatment, and support administrative duties needed for efficient clinic functioning.

Qualifications

• Experience with EMR and scheduling software is required.
• Customer service experience is essential.
• Familiarity with CPT/ICD10 codes is a plus.
• G-Suite proficiency is expected.
• Ability to work under direction and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurances and authorizations for visits.
• Delegate and coordinate tasks with other coordinators, PTs, Site Directors and Corporate Management.
• Enter charges (copays, coinsurance and bill payments) and review daily payments.
• Coordinate in-services and events with Site Director and Corporate Management.
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, phone coverage, and patient paperwork assistance.
• Communicate patient arrivals and ensure timely sessions.
• Schedule, reschedule, and manage patient flow to prevent delays.

This individual must be able to efficiently multitask and be driven to provide outstanding customer service.Normal work hours Monday-Friday:Job Description:Under the general and direct supervision of the Site Director, Physical Therapist, or Corporate Management, the Clinic Coordinator prepares the patient for treatment by collecting payments and paperwork; performs the housekeeping duties of the department/facility; and oversees the daily operations of the clinic. Responsibilities and DutiesVerification of Insurances and Authorizations of visitsDelegation and Coordination of Tasks with other Clinic Coordinators, Physical Therapists, Site Directors and Corporate ManagementAccurately enter charges (copays, co-insurance and bill payments). Review of daily patient paymentsPreparation and Coordination of In-Services and Events with Site Director and Corporate ManagementPerforms clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering the telephone or taking messages. Assists patients with paperwork when necessaryCommunicate arrival of clients and help ensure timeliness of sessionsMulti-tasking of job tasks and responsibilities with the ability to complete in an expected time frameMaintains a neat and organized workspace and ensures cleanliness within the facilityUnderstanding and assisting in the patients plan of care in regards to scheduling appointments, lost patients, and pro-actively rescheduling appointmentsFollows up and reviews daily reports and proactively communicates the need for a prescription, authorization / referral / precertification to ensure there are no delays with patient careCompensation, Benefits & Equal Employment OpportunitiesPay range based on experience. Knowledge and use of PromptEMR, Revflow and other healthcare software is favorable.Customer service / relations experienceSuperficial knowledge of the reasons for patient care including physiology, anatomy, and neurology is helpful, but not requiredPrevious experience in a clinical setting (hospital or physical therapy clinic) with an understanding of medical billing practices and medical terminology (CPT and ICD10 codes)is a plusWilling to work under direction and take instructions and corrections; ability to reason, to remember names; details of instructions; must be alert, adaptable, and flexibleProfessional manner; thoughtful of others, gentle and courteousAbility to organize and prioritize as things change and the atmosphere is fast pace.Experience using G-Suite product (i.e. Google Docs, Gmail, Calendar)Comfortable taking initiative (Self-starter)High school graduate or equivalent
