Legacy Community Health in Houston seeks a Clinic Medical Director to serve as the clinical lead at the clinic, guiding Pediatrics, Adult Family Practice, Specialty, and OB/GYN services while partnering with operational and nursing leadership.

You will balance administrative duties with ongoing patient care, strengthen workflows, improve access, and mentor providers to advance quality, outcomes, and coordinated community care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
• Board-certified in a Primary Care specialty (Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Family Practice, Internal Medicine).
• Credentialed and privileged according to Legacy's standards.
• Provider must participate in Medicare/Medicaid programs and other payers as required.
• Leadership/management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical lead at the clinic and supervise providers in primary care.
• Collaborate with Site Director on schedule optimization and coverage.
• Lead clinical workflow implementation and quality improvement efforts.
• Recruitment and interviews of providers for the site.
• Address patient access and service line growth with leadership input.
• Balance administrative leadership with ongoing patient care and provider development.
