Job summary

Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is seeking mission-driven Primary Care Physicians to join our expanding network of Community Health Centers throughout Riverside County, with opportunities in Hemet and Palm Springs.

The Ambulatory Care Physician Leader role emphasizes leadership, supervision, education, and clinical quality within a safety-net health system offering FQHC services and comprehensive care. A competitive base salary up to $360K plus generous benefits supports this mission.

Qualifications

• Residency training in ACGME or AOA with Board eligibility or certification in the specialty.
• Board certification required; eligibility expires per ABMS rules and must be pursued.
• California Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead ambulatory care services at RUHS and supervise clinicians, healthcare staff, medical students, interns, and residents.
• Instruct staff on patient care services and develop educational programs for learners.
• Contribute to clinical quality programs and ensure compliance with Joint Commission, HRSA, and state/federal requirements.
• Act as medical consultant for primary and preventive care programs and oversee adherence to policies.
