Samaritan Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Services Coordinator to provide clinical oversight across Samaritan Clinics, collaborating with Directors of Operations to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in day-to-day clinical operations.
The role focuses on leading clinical policy development, education, and quality improvement initiatives, while coordinating with leadership to meet performance goals across multiple practice sites.

The Clinical Services Coordinator serves as a collaborative resource for other clinical support staff. Coordinates with the Directors of Operations regarding clinical competencies of all clinical support staff for employed physicians and practices in the Samaritan Clinics Practice Sites. Provides education for clinical standards, risk mitigation, coding and documentation, and coordinates quality initiatives across the Samaritan Clinics Practice Sites. Provides information to the Director of Quality & Risk regarding the improvement activities of Samaritan Clinics in conjunction with the hospital departments involved. Ensures compliance with applicable accreditation, regulatory, and licensure standards.
This is a full-time position works Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30am-6:00pm (schedule to be determined upon hire).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The professional in the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) position reports to the Director of Operations with clinical oversight provided by the Clinic Care Director. This position works closely with all Samaritan Clinic Departments and professionals in order to provide quality patient care. This position may be primarily assigned to specific medical specialty department but may be asked to work in other departments including Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Family Medicine, OB/Women’s Health, Urgent Care, Podiatry, and other departments as requested.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
a. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field OR equivalent education/experience required.
b. Master’s degree in Nursing or related field OR equivalent education/experience preferred.
a. Current Washington state Registered Nurse license.
a. Minimum 3 years of related clinical experience involving quality improvement, leadership, and healthcare quality practices, as well as associated regulatory rules and laws. At least one year must have been in capacity as direct supervisor of other professional level employees.
b. Minimum 3 years direct experience in ambulatory care quality improvement preferred.
i. Ability to speak, understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions in English. Bilingual skill with Spanish is an asset.

c. Industry Knowledge
i. Thorough knowledge of health care delivery, current trends, and strategies in healthcare.
ii. Knowledge of principles of Lean management systems and strategy deployment is desired.
iii. Knowledge of applicable regulatory, compliance, and accreditation standards and requirements.
iv. Knowledge of governmental reporting programs.
v. Mentor, influence, and manage through matrix reporting relationships.
vi. Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data
vii. Ability to prepare comprehensive management reports.
viii. Project Management: Skilled in project planning, task prioritization, effectively manages resources, outcomes measurement, and tracking. Takes initiative and exercises good judgment. Ability to coordinate various projects and activities concurrently.
ix. Maintains high level of confidentiality at all times.
x. Ability to build trust and gain respect through effective team leadership and participation skills.
xi. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
d. Ability to work under minimal direct supervision but maintain a high degree of communication of current work activity with supervisor(s).

h. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
i. Current (Healthcare Provider [HCP] level) CPR certification or completed within six months of hire.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel and climb stairs to varying degrees throughout the day.
2. Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
3. Good reading eyesight; full vision acuity, depth perception, and color perception.
4. Ability to communicate using verbal and/or written skills for accurate exchange of information with physicians, nurses, health care professionals, patients and/or family, and the public.
