Job summary

To the Moon PLLC is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our ABA therapy center in Springfield, VA. The SLP will lead in-house speech services, collaborating with BCBAs and behavior technicians to support children ages 2–13 years in a clinic setting.

You’ll have a private office, a steady caseload through our ABA team, and opportunities for professional development. The position offers an hourly rate and a supportive environment for independent practice growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current CCC-SLP (ASHA) certification.
• Active Virginia state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain licensure by start date).
• Experience working with children with autism and related developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children aged 2-13 years.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, in collaboration with ABA therapy plans when applicable.
• Provide direct therapy services to clients in a clinic-based setting, focusing on improving communication skills, social interaction, and functional language development.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and our ABA team to support generalization of skills across environments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and treatment plans.
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home.
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
