Job summary

Central Outreach Wellness Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide quality care in a warm, multilingual clinic. You will help ensure the clinic floor runs smoothly and that patients are seen in a timely, respectful manner.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating with physicians, updating patients about visits, assisting with appointments and inventory, and documenting care in our HIPAA-compliant EMR system to support LGBTQIA, HIV & Hep C health

Qualifications

• Balance multiple projects and prioritize deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, as well as Electronic Medical Records.
• Experience with patient centered care.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, professionals, and patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Understanding of healthcare privacy laws (HIPAA).
• LGBTQ+ cultural competency.
• Ability to collaborate with Lead Clinician on workflows and patient needs.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes excited atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient status and treatment plans.
• Contact patients regarding visits and updates as needed.
• Assist with appointments.
• Assist with inventory management of clinical equipment and stock on the floor.
