The Orthopedics Department at Lennar Medical Center offers an exciting opportunity for a full-time Clinic Athletic Trainer 3.

Summary

The Clinic Athletic Trainer 3 (H) works within a physician practice, assisting with patient care at various locations and providers within the Orthopedics Department. They have direct patient contact under the supervision of an attending surgeon, evaluating and treating medical and musculoskeletal conditions. The role requires clinical evaluation and educational skills to deliver patient-centered care.

Core Job Functions

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical assessments for patients with injuries and illnesses.
• Take detailed histories including chief complaints, vitals, pain scores, injury mechanisms, medical history, and review of systems.
• Perform physical examinations such as range of motion, strength testing, neurovascular assessments, palpation, special tests, and functional testing. Present findings to physicians, including imaging results.

• Serve as a key liaison for the practice of an attending surgeon or satellite location.
• Assist with clinic scheduling, patient communication, and referrals.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
