Job summary

ZoomCare is seeking a Clinic Associate in Seattle at the South Lake Union Clinic to deliver the Perfect Visit experience across services. You will handle scheduling, patient check-in/out, payments, and education on the digital record, while maintaining privacy and accuracy.

In this role you’ll perform phlebotomy, manage supplies, assist providers, and keep the clinic compliant and clean. Training includes travel to multiple clinics and potential remote elements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, AthenaOne, and other relevant software.
  • Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or the ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
  • Ability to complete ZoomCare’s phlebotomy training within six months of hire.
  • WA: must obtain Medical Assistant- Phlebotomist license within 6 months of hire.
  • OR: Current phlebotomy license; equivalent licensure or training experience preferred.
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella, and TD/TDAP.

Responsibilities

  • Check patients in and out for appointments.
  • Schedule new appointments as needed.
  • Process patient payments.
  • Educate patients on navigating their ZoomCare medical record.
  • Maintain patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Perform blood draws and finger sticks following lab standards.
  • Process collected specimens and document results.
  • Maintain supply inventory; order, receive, and store supplies.
  • Work with and maintain basic medical equipment.
  • Provide emergency care to patients when necessary.
  • Support medical providers as needed.
  • Ensure the clinic remains clean and neat.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ZoomCare is seeking a Clinic Associate to join our team!

The Clinic Associate is responsible for delivering the Perfect Visit experience in one or more of the following service lines: Daily Care, Family Medicine, Mental Health, Women's Health, Dermatology, and Podiatry. This can include scheduling appointments, updating medical records, checking patients in and out for appointments, performing blood draws, processing labs, and maintaining inventory.

SCHEDULE AND TRAINING
  • Location: ZoomCare South Lake Union Clinic
  • Schedule: Mon-Fri, 4:30pm - 12:30am
  • Clinic positions required you to attend 2-3 weeks of training. The first week will be partially remote and at your primary location, the second and third weeks include traveling to multiple clinics in the area.
  • Depending on the position and associated requirements, there may be additional mandatory training requirements that are outside of your scheduled shift.

  • Excel in a fast-paced work environment, thriving under pressure and time constraints.
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from a recognized and reputable organization (e.g., American Heart Association, Red Cross) or the ability to obtain one within 1 month of hire.
  • Ability to complete ZoomCare’s phlebotomy training program within six months of hire.
  • WA: Must be able to obtain a Medical Assistant- Phlebotomist license within 6 months of hire.
  • OR: Current phlebotomy license; equivalent licensure or training experience, preferred.

COMPENSATIONPACKAGE

  • Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $30.00/hr
    • +$2/hr for hours worked after 6pm
  • Other Compensation: May be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead.
  • Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending.
  • Prolonged periods of standing/sitting and working at a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at time.
  • Ability to move to a different clinic location based on business needs.
  • Patient volume may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.
  • Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
  • Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to be fit tested and wear a respirator, when required.
