## Clinic Assistant - WestlandApply: Onsite: Westland, MI: Full time: Posted Yesterday: JR100881**SUMMARY:**Under the supervision of the Primary Care Provider, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse, the Clinic Assistant (CA) may perform participant care and support services within the clinic at PACE SEMI. The CA will act only within the scope of his/her authority to practice.**SPECIFIC DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:*** Collaborates and communicates with the PACE SEMI team to promote a safe and positive work environment* Greet and check-in participants for clinic appointments, including those from ancillary services* Coordinates and escorts participant throughout center to designated area at appropriate scheduled times. Uses proper participant handling techniques including the use of assistant devices (ie- cane, walker, wheelchair, etc)* Collaborates and communicates with clinic staff, transportation, and Day Health Center team re: cancellations, delays, and potential changes to appointments through verbal and electronic means* Clerical duties such as: Answer phone, takes messages, and directs calls. Copy, fax, and file documents.
