Florida Digestive Health Specialists, LLP is seeking a Clinic Assistant/Phlebotomist in Lakewood Ranch, FL. The role supports Clinical Research Coordinators in the clinic and assists the Lab Supervisor in the lab.

Bilingual English/Spanish required to communicate with diverse patients and staff. Responsibilities include preparing lab draw kits, collecting and processing samples, handling records requests, and assisting with Monitor visits and source documents.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Experience in clinical or research settings preferred.
• Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with study visits: Vital signs, ECG, Blood Draws.
• Assist with lab responsibilities: Blood/urine processing, shipment of specimens.
• Perform Records Requests and Redaction.
• Assist CRC to prep for Monitor visits and Source documents.
• Travel to other sites to assist in Clinic and Lab.
• Attend Clinic Assistant meetings.
• Additional duties as needed.

Description

The Clinic Assistant is responsible for assisting the Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) in clinic and the Lab Supervisor in the lab. Clinic responsibilities include preparing lab draw kits, assisting in requesting medical records and clinic stocking. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English, have the ability to communicate well across a wide variety of people, and complete tasks within short deadlines.

Duties Include but are not limited to
