Job summary

LeConte Medical Center, part of Covenant Health, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room in Sevierville, TN. This full-time night shift position offers a fast-paced environment and collaborative care.

You will provide professional nursing care, coordinate with interdisciplinary team, and participate in unit-based committees. New graduates welcome within orientation year.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
• Minimum Experience: New graduate within 1st year of orientation.
• Licensure Requirement: Valid Tennessee license. CPR required.

• Completes nursing history and initiates patient education.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members.
• Implements plan of care appropriate to diagnosis.
• Problem solves and coordinates unit/patient care assignments, with supervision.
• Introduces new employees/students to unit routines.
• Participates on unit-based committee/serves as council representative.
• Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
