An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Liaison to support physicians and staff in an outpatient setting. This role focuses on optimizing workflows, providing direct support, and assisting with the Epic application. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance clinical information systems across multiple locations. Specializing in the support of physicians and staff working in the outpatient physician office setting. The Liaison's primary responsibilities include providing direct support, identifying workflow issues, determining optimization opportunities, onboarding new providers, assisting physicians and other clinicians with personalizing their Epic setup, creating note templates, and resolving technology issues. This position also performs Tier II end-user support for new and upgraded Clinical Information System applications impacting clinical workflows across all El Camino hospital campuses, affiliated clinics, and Community Connect clinics.
Additional duties involve testing workflows, creating tip sheets and supporting documentation, assisting with training, and communicating stakeholder-reported issues to the iCare application teams. The liaison will master both the Epic application and El Camino Health’s specific workflows to understand decisions affecting end-users. Collaboration with training liaisons is essential to identify workflow changes from change requests, updates, and releases. The physician liaison will communicate these changes to all stakeholders and is a vital member of the Epic Team.
Valid healthcare certification or licensure is preferred.
