Job summary

Central Rock Gym is seeking a Personal Training Instructor to deliver individualized fitness coaching, support member goals, and enhance the CRG experience. You will design and lead sessions, foster an open, inclusive environment, and work with staff on scheduling and program awareness.

You will market offerings, manage bookings in Rock Gym Pro, and help grow client base while upholding safe exercise practices and high energy gym culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years coaching experience or a 200-hour certification from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of current fitness methodologies and coaching best practices.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Friendly, approachable, client-focused demeanor and strong communication.
• Climbing knowledge is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver tailored training sessions aligned to client goals and abilities.
• Coordinate session schedules with gym management.
• Assist with client bookings and rosters in Rock Gym Pro.
• Partner with management to market offerings via website and in-gym channels.
• Create an inclusive, motivating environment for participants of all backgrounds.
• Prepare and reset the training area; ensure equipment is cleaned and stored.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
