The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a climbing arborist to join our outdoor team in Dulles, VA. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified applicants.

Compensation ranges from $24.50 to $32.00 per hour, based on experience, with increments of $500 in the first month and each subsequent month. Responsibilities include climbing using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems, pruning and removal, installing cables and braces, and operating common tree care equipment.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law.

Trim and remove trees, remove unwanted, diseased or dying limbs on trees, or to affect the health and safety of trees or surrounding areas by performing the following duties.
