Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist to join our outdoor team. You will operate as part of a crew, perform pruning and removal work, and ascend trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems to safely serve our clients.

We provide industry-leading safety training, equipment, and opportunities for career growth. The role is on-site with travel up to 25%, compensation $22.00-25.00 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors
• 1 year tree climbing experience
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
• Ability to complete the Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law

• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.

Position Overview

Trim and remove trees, remove unwanted, diseased or dying limbs on trees, or to affect the health and safety of trees or surrounding areas by performing the following duties.

Compensation Data: $22.00-25.00 / hour
