Climbing Arborist Crew Leader (Experienced) | S.E. Seattle

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Climbing Arborist Crew Leader who holds a valid state driver's license; a commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred. If you do not have a CDL, you will be required to obtain one during employment. Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle is a plus.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $32-$42, based on 2-4 years of experience.

Job Responsibilities

1. Climb trees using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems.
2. Lead a crew in arboricultural tasks ensuring safety and efficiency.
3. Perform pruning, thinning, deadwood removal, and install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems.
4. Remove hazardous trees and mentor crew members.
5. Maintain and operate tools and equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.

Qualifications

• Passion for the outdoors.
• Ability to complete Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation, First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving courses upon hire.
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide licenses, ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Certified Tree Worker, or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional.
