Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a dedicated Climber to prune and remove trees, and to assist in storm restoration as needed. The role requires climbing experience, knowledge of rigging, and a commitment to safety.
Travel may be required for storm work; background checks and background verification are part of the process. Applicants should have at least a high school diploma (or equivalent) and be capable of meeting physical demands.
The Climber is responsible for climbing, pruning, and removing trees. At least one year of previous professional experience as a climber in line clearance is required to be considered for this role. Driver's License is preferred but not required. Specifically looking for individuals with experience with tree removals and hazard trees. This is a full-time role with benefits that include medical, vision, and dental insurance, as well as the option for enrollment into our 401K retirement plan.
Climbers have no direct reports.
Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred; previous climbing experience is preferred
High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
This position requires employee to be able to pass a background check and drug screen as required for this job.
