Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Foreperson in North Carolina to coordinate crews and equipment for line clearance projects. The role requires climber/trimmer/bucket operator experience, a valid driver's license and preferably a CDL.
Responsibilities include directing daily work, ensuring safety, and communicating with property owners for access and permissions. Experience in electric utility vegetation management or related fields is preferred.
The Foreperson coordinates crew members, equipment, tools, and supplies in order to complete all jobs according to contract specifications. Must have previous professional experience in line clearance as a climber, trimmer, or bucket operator. Specifically looking for individuals with experience with tree removals and hazard trees. Driver's license required, CDL preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Foreperson has no direct reports, but directs crew members to prepare equipment, tools, and supplies necessary for each day’s work.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or education equivalent preferred
