Job summary

Mars Climate Sustainability Internship Experience offers a 10–11 week summer program in Chicago with exposure to Net Zero targets, climate research, and developing sustainability initiatives.

As an intern, you will join a purpose-driven company, work in a hybrid Chicago office or remotely, and gain mentorship, training, and hands-on problem solving while contributing to planetary and community impact.

Qualifications

• Humble and hungry students with drive for results and ability to build relationships quickly.
• Passionate about advancing social and environmental sustainability in the CPG industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills, solutions-oriented mindset, and written communication ability.
• Pursuing a Master’s degree or MBA in a relevant field (Environment, Sustainability, Biology, Geography, or related).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; background/drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate research for Net Zero targets and mitigation strategies in factories and supply chain.
• Write and research climate sustainability topics for review by Global Sustainability team.
• Develop business processes for implementing climate sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Climate Sr. Manager to explore Mars’ environmental initiatives growth.
