Job summary

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an OCR-2026-6i Climate Resilience Outreach & Program Support Intern for the Office of Climate Resilience. The role focuses on supporting outreach materials, quarterly communications, and engagement with communities to advance resilience initiatives in New Jersey.

The intern will assist with drafting content for newsletters, drafting memos and slides for workgroups, and helping implement improvements in climate resilience

Qualifications

Translate complex topics into clear, plain language.
Interest in climate action or resilience planning.
Experience in engaging with communities or local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Draft and revise outreach and marketing materials for external audiences (social media, website content, awareness information).
Prepare research briefs and memos for workgroup discussions and summaries for meetings.
