Job summary

IBM is seeking a Reporting Analyst within the Chief Sustainability Office to advance sustainability commitments and meet regulatory, client, and corporate disclosure requirements. This role blends environmental science, data analytics, and corporate strategy to support GHG emissions and renewable energy reporting across IBM.

The successful candidate will gather and validate data, drive process improvements, and contribute to climate strategy and performance tracking.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, environmental, or business field.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with large data sets.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Ability to summarize technical information for non-technical audiences.
Interest in sustainability and climate data.

Responsibilities

Analyze IBM's renewable electricity consumption and GHG emissions across geographies and entities.
Maintain and automate GHG accounting methodologies and data quality controls.
Translate climate reporting requirements into scalable data collection and analytics solutions.
Identify and monitor regulations and reporting requirements using AI.
Support client and supplier engagement related to climate data collection and reporting.
Measure and report progress against renewable energy and GHG targets across IBM.
