Qualifications

• Experience in health care facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of basic asepsis and sterile techniques to avoid infection.
• Ability to cook a variety of foods, follow menus, and manage quantities to minimize waste.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, season and serve nutritious meals according to menus.
• Take temperatures and vital signs as directed.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living and meal distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of bedside and dining areas; protect client privacy and dignity.
• Document temperatures and meal-related observations; support infection control procedures.
