Job summary

• Deliver hands-on CNA support including ADLs, personal care, and ambulation as needed.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming, and caring environment during all transport interactions.
• Complete transportation logs, mileage documentation, and schedules accurately and on time.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for all transport vehicles.
• Demonstrate adherence to infection control, safety regulations, and PruittHealth policies.
• Partner closely with nursing and administrative teams to coordinate smooth transport operations.

Job Purpose

As a Transportation Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant at PruittHealth Coastal Central, you will play an essential role in ensuring our patients and residents receive safe, timely, and supportive transportation to appointments, therapies, and activities. • Assist individuals entering and exiting vehicles using proper lifting, transfer, and mobility techniques

Minimum Education Required

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

(Preferred qualifications)

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record -Motor Vehicle Record is required as part of pre-employment.
• 1 year of experience in skilled nursing, senior living, home health, or patient transportation
• Familiarity with wheelchair lifts, securements, and mobility devices
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients safely
• Excellent communication and service skills
