Join to apply for the Client Transport Specialist - Per Diem role at RVNAhealth

RVNAhealth is seeking a compassionate and reliable Per Diem Patient Transport Driver to assist clients in and out of our wheelchair-accessible van. This role involves driving clients, both with and without wheelchair needs, to appointments and ensuring a comfortable and supportive experience. Per Diem availability weekdays, Monday-Friday 8am-3pm. If you have a passion for helping others and enjoy making a positive impact on patients' lives, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients in and out of the wheelchair-accessible van, ensuring comfort and safety for all passengers.
  • Drive clients to medical appointments as requested, ensuring timely and safe arrivals.
  • Collaborate with the RVNAhealth scheduling team to confirm appointments and ensure van availability.
  • Offer comfort and encouragement to patients and their family members, providing support during transportation.
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure and healthy work environment.
  • Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of the van according to protocol.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Supervisor of RVNAhealth Care Solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of RVNAhealth's programs and services to better serve clients.
  • Adhere to all RVNAhealth policies and procedures, representing the organization in a professional manner.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a transporter with the elderly or with individuals with special needs is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's license for at least 2 years, with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of GPS is preferred.
  • CDL or F Endorsement is required; must be willing to obtain endorsement upon hire.
  • Great customer and patient service skills.
  • Outstanding bedside manner.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Impeccable emotional intelligence and listening skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk up multiple flights of stairs, with healthy endurance.

The listed pay range reflects RVNAhealth's commitment to pay transparency and is a reasonable estimate at the time of posting. Final salary will be determined based on location, experience, and qualifications.
