Descripción del empleo

Do you light up when you solve someone's problem? Are you the calm, cheerful voice people are relieved to hear on the other end of the line?

We're looking for a Client Support Specialist to delight the contractors and staffing clients who depend on Agile Partnering every day.

Company Overview

At Agile Partnering, we are a fast-growing (Inc 5000), tech-enabled service company. We help staffing firms grow faster and with less stress by providing easy, flexible, and innovative back-office, employer of record, and funding solutions. Our clients are based across the UK and North America.

Culture Overview

Everything we do is fueled by our shared values: Serve, Compete, and Create. A few of our operating disciplines include Ownership, Trust, Radical Candor, and No Entitlement, along with a relentless focus on client delight. We are a small, tight-knit team of high performers, and we're excited to find the next person to join us.

About This Role

You'll be the person both sides of every placement turn to: the contractors doing the work, and the recruiters at our staffing clients who placed them. You'll work closely with our Director of Operations and our payroll and support teammates. Over time, you'll build real, name-by-name relationships with the people you support.

Your Mission

Delight our contractors and clients with service they don't get anywhere else, so contractors can focus on their work instead of spinning their wheels on back-office questions, and recruiters always know where their people stand.

Key Duties Include
Supporting our contractors
  • Onboarding – Guide W-2 employees and independent contractors through paperwork, background checks, and setup so they start on time
  • Worker questions – Answer questions about benefits, payroll, pay stubs, timesheets, and HR matters quickly and accurately
  • Inbox and phone – Own the support inbox and phone line so every worker gets a clear, friendly answer without chasing it
  • Offboarding – Help workers wrap up when an assignment ends, including final pay and system updates
Supporting our staffing clients
  • Recruiter support – Be the go-to contact for recruiters, with timely onboarding status updates and answers to their questions
  • Compliance questions – Answer client questions on worker classification (W-2 vs. 1099), exempt vs. non-exempt status, benefits, timesheets, and payroll, and elevate grey areas to the Director of Operations
  • New placements – Process new placements accurately and follow each client's special requirements
  • Relationships – Build lasting trust with the recruiters and contractors you work with
Success in This Role Looks Like
  • Contractors start on time, get paid correctly, and rarely have to ask the same question twice
  • Recruiters trust you as their first call and never have to chase a status update
  • Frustrated callers end the conversation calmer than they started it
  • Within your first 90 days, you independently own the support inbox and onboarding tracking
Ideal Candidate

You have a heart of service. Helping people gives you energy, and you feel genuinely gratified when someone's problem is solved.

  • 3+ years in client or customer support, HR support, onboarding, benefits, or payroll support
  • Preferred: experience at a staffing firm, PEO, employer of record, or payroll provider
  • Preferred: an HR certification such as SHRM-CP or aPHR
  • Brings a steady, bright, cheerful presence to every conversation, even on busy days
  • Listens first and calmly de-escalates frustrated people
  • Organized enough to track many people and open questions at once without letting anything slip
  • Gets names, dates, and numbers right, because people's paychecks depend on it
  • Works easily with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and industries
  • Wants a long-term home on a team, not a stepping stone
Location & Compensation
  • Fully remote, full-time W-2 position
  • Must live in the Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zone
  • Year 1 Earnings: $70K–$80K OTE (base $65K–$70K + quarterly performance bonus)
  • Comprehensive health benefits and a competitive vacation package
  • Values-driven leadership and company culture
