Job summary

All Together Recovery LLC (ATR) provides ASAM SUD/BHSO care, housing, education and training. The Client Support Specialist helps day-to-day operations and recovery support for participants, with weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am–8pm.

The role requires a valid Kentucky driver’s license, APSS certification (preferred or willing to obtain within 90 days), and prior APSS experience. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 12 months in SUD treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all necessary staff meetings.
• Be proficient in all ATR rules, policies, and procedures.
• Model servant leadership.
• Operate with integrity in all circumstances.
• Communicate effectively and be responsive to verbal and written correspondences.
• Knowledge of local resources, the recovery community and service access.
• Fill in for team members to cover APSS billable services when necessary.
• Maintain ATR records per policy and regulations.
• Maintain required personal certifications and training.
• Educate and coach clients in ATR house rules.
• Perform 30-minute walk throughs and head counts daily.
• Transport clients to and from community engagements and pick up new intakes as needed.
• Maintain daily updated dorm list.
• Ensure clients attend prescribed programming.
• Meet the needs of the clients.
• Complete shift reports daily and review; file previous shift reports.
• Administer drug screens, room checks, and searches as needed.
• Facilitate structured activity groups for residential clients in ATR program.
• Work with clinical staff to gauge client needs and progress.
• Any other task assigned by supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY:

All Together Recovery LLC (ATR), provides multiple levels of ASAM SUD/BHSO care, including recovery housing, education, job training, employment, and other recovery related extensions to the family in for-profit and non-profit environments. The Client Support Specialist is vital to ensuring client needs are met and improving the treatment atmosphere of ATR. Their primary function is to help the day-to-day operations, logistics, and programming of ATR run smoothly, and provide recovery support to program participants.

This position is on weekends with hours on Saturday and Sunday from approximately 8am - 8pm.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIRMENTS:

1. Must have a valid Kentucky driver’s license.
2. Participate in all necessary staff meetings.
3. Be proficient in all ATR rules, policies, and procedures.

8. If necessary, fill in for team members who are absent to cover APSS billable services.
9. Maintain all pertinent ATR records as per policy and regulations.
10. Maintain all required personal certifications and required training.
11. Ability to educate and coach clients in all aspects of client house rules.

BACKGROUND/EDUCATION:

1. Current APSS certification preferred/willingness to gain APSS certification within first 90 days of employment
2. 1 year of previous experience as an APSS.

4. 12 months working with SUD treatment preferred
