Job summary

National Engravers, Inc. in Elgin, IL, is hiring a Sales Support / Customer Service Representative to assist our sales team and ensure smooth handling of custom orders across awards, promotional products, apparel, and company store programs.

You will review artwork, coordinate with suppliers, support account managers with quotes and questions, track orders through production, and maintain CRM and ERP records, all while delivering clear updates to clients.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in customer service, sales support, promotional products, or related custom-product environments.
• Familiarity with ASI/PPAI suppliers, decoration methods, and custom product workflows.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with clients and vendors.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
• Experience with order entry systems, CRM tools, or production management software.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, purchasing, and production.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter and manage orders across awards, promotional products, apparel, and company store programs
• Review artwork, proofs, and job details for accuracy before production
• Communicate with ASI/PPAI suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and product availability
• Support account managers with quotes, client questions, and program-related tasks
• Track orders through production and ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate changes, approvals, and client updates throughout the order lifecycle
• Maintain accurate records in CRM, ERP, and production systems
• Provide clear, timely communication to clients and internal teams
• Assist with sample requests, product research, and vendor follow-ups
• Represent National Engravers’ brands with professionalism and attention to detail.
