Job Description

The Enterprise Special Services team is expanding rapidly and is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to enhance the shipper experience for vendors and sellers engaging with Inbound Transportation. As the organization continues to innovate within transportation and logistics, we consistently evaluate our current network shipper defects and drive improvements through shipper coaching and performance management. In this role, you will work directly with shippers to develop solutions and take action to improve shipper performance metrics.

Job Description

The Enterprise Special Services team is expanding rapidly and is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to enhance the shipper experience for vendors and sellers engaging with Inbound Transportation. As the organization continues to innovate within transportation and logistics, we consistently evaluate our current network shipper defects and drive improvements through shipper coaching and performance management. In this role, you will work directly with shippers to develop solutions and take action to improve shipper performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, verify, and present data daily.
  • Overcome transportation disruptions and other barriers in real time.
  • Identify transportation defect root causes.
  • Maintain daily logs on assigned shippers.
  • Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers.
  • Lead Daily Business Review Stand-up calls.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Good relationship-building skills and organizational skills.

  • Preferred experience: 2 years in Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
  • Understanding of basic data analytical skills.
  • Experience writing documents on topics such as process improvement proposals.
  • Entry-level knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and ability to navigate and interpret data.
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills.

Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid work environment, with 3 days a week in-office initially and transitioning to 5 days in-office by Summer of 2025. Training is conducted in-person for 2 weeks. You will have the opportunity to work with top customers and gain exposure to potential full-time employment conversion.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
